Long time no post, I know. Started working in November, and I’ve been working on and off since.
There’s some progress here, I assure you. It’s just that I’ve only been working on it a little here and there (as The Fading Radiant Twilight has had a higher priority, and even that hasn’t moved too much). I’ll try to shift things back into a higher gear soon.
More news as it comes.
Goodness Gracious
I just looked through all of the older posts. Having seen what bastardization befell the last revision of Inside the Isolated Heart (there’s no excuse, really; the latter part was rushed and poorly executed), I actually kinda want to cry. It’s just so bad. The revision prior to that was phenomenally better than that one, and that was missing details of all kinds and had flaws of its own.
After having done some work on The Fading Radiant Twilight (not to mention having the chance to examine the core plot more carefully), hopefully I’ll avoid making similar mistakes and manage to cut the length of the chapters significantly.
Hiatus Revoked
You’re probably wondering what I’m trying to pull here. Well, guess what?
This project will no longer be in hiatus, starting as soon as this post is completed.
Status
Sorry about the lack of news. The project has been in a sort of limbo state. I’m not sure if anything will change, but anyway, for information on the latest project, check the “Fading Radiant Twilight Development Blog” on my blogroll to the right.
Redraft update
Okay, so I’ve been slacking on the primary focus of the draft and have been focusing on the story. Again. It’s a habit, though I suppose that’s my shortcoming. Lack of properly drafted characters, predetermined plot elements, and settings in general are probably what made the original Inside the Isolated Heart fall short of something salvageable in its former state. Don’t get me wrong; I’m not going to go so far as to completely recreate the cast and setting.

I know, late notes are late. Sorry. Summer usually kills my productivity level and I can’t ever get my priorities straight. Anyway, before I begin with the changes from the long since finished Part 1 Intermission, allow me to say that I’ve properly edited some of my prior posts, which were all on the page at once and made it huge. Now, they’re properly set to hide the rest until you view the entry so the page looks a lot neater.
